Gloria Estefanell (Barcelona) is a multidisciplinary artist who works between Madrid and her studio on the island of Formentera. (Balearic Islands, Spain).
Her techniques, often in large formats, reveal a deep passion for sport and nature—particularly the sea and high mountains—while reflecting exquisite sensitivity and a keen interest in aesthetics, architecture, and art.
She makes her art her way of life and her way of seeing life. She likes to reflect and paint her people, her friends and the most positive part of it. At the end, everything she loves.
Xavier Escribà (Paris, 1969) studied art in Barcelona (Sant Jordi Fine Arts College, University of Barcelona) and later in Paris (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts). He lived in Paris for over ten years and started his career there.
His pictorial development, described as “imaginative and original” by critic Maria-Luïsa Borràs, might be described as a continuation of the French Support-Surface movement. Since 2000, he has exhibited regularly in France and Spain and is present on the international scene at fairs such as Fiac, Arco, The Armory Show, ArtBasel, ArtCologne, etc.
He lives and works in Catalunya (Spain).
